Wheat was introduced to the game on August 12, 2010. This crop is unlocked at level 7, and costs 80 c per plant. Each plot that is seeded gives 2 xp, and it takes 2 days to mature. Upon harvest, it gives 6 xp and 4 Wheat. Each wheat is worth 40 c, making the average harvest value 160 c. This crop can be upgraded to the first star after harvesting 457 plots, upgraded to the second star after harvesting 1371 plots, and upgraded to the third star after harvesting 2742 plots. The coin bonus for each excellent plot harvested is an additional 150 c. The current description reads "A staple ingredient for flour!". The old description read "Full of fiber".

Trivia[]
- Wheat was lowered from Level 46 to Level 7 on March 24, 2011. In addition to the level being lowered the Items per plant was reduced from 10 Wheat to 4 Wheat and both the planting cost and harvest price were lowered.
