You have to cook 41 Raspberry Jam to obtain the first star, requiring 123 Raspberries and 2 hours and 3 minutes.
For the second star, you have to cook it 125 times, figuring in the + 100% Serving Reward from the first crop star, it requires a cumulative total of 249 Raspberries and 4 hours and 9 minutes. That is an additional 126 Raspberries on top of the first star, and an additional 2 hours and 6 minutes.
The third star takes 249 Raspberry Jam, figuring in the + 100% Serving Reward from the first crop star, it requires a cumulative total of 435 Raspberries and 7 hours and 15 minutes. From the perspective of the first star, you need an additional 312 Raspberries and 5 hours and 12 minutes. From the perspective of the second star, you need an additional 186 Raspberries and 3 hours and 6 minutes.
A total of 205 Raspberry Jams are used to complete all three recipe stars in the following coin recipe:
A total of 302 Raspberry Jams are used to complete all three recipe stars in the following coin recipe:
The Raspberry ControversyEdit
Some players use Raspberry Jam to complain about cooking being unprofitable.
For instance, they claim that a Raspberry bush is harvested for 30 c, therefore using three bushes (90 c) to make a 10 c jam creates a loss of 80 c. In reality, they have failed to realise that each bush produces ten Raspberries, and only 3 Raspberries are used in the recipe - not 3 Raspberry bushes.
This confusion is probably caused by the following reasons:
- not reading the white pop-up which says you have 10/10 Raspberries (occasionally less if you have plundering neighbours)
- not reading the white pop-up in the cookbook which says "Raspberry", not "Raspberry bush"
Solution to the problem
Please patiently explain to the complainer that he/she has misunderstood the numbers of the yield and therefore the profit.
